Dress Up a Room with a Loft Ladder
Some of the most beautiful and modern looking homes are actually quite small. One of the tricks architects use to keep the space looking large while still providing some privacy for occupants is building a loft instead of a room. If you own a house like this, have you considered sprucing it up a bit? There is a lot you can do to sleek up a place without spending a lot of money or loosing space. One of the things you can do is decorate, fix up or replace your loft ladder. It may not seem like an obvious choice but think about it: your loft ladder is a focal point in the room. You can’t help but see it, and depending on the style, it may be big enough that trying to get it to “blend in” will just make the room look sterile. Why not varnish it, have it painted in rich colours or redesign it altogether?
